Through his work at Rocket Industries he has helped over 100,000 learners access professional training, driving tens of millions of pounds of learner finance through affiliate lending partnerships.

That commercial instinct sits at the heart of how SmartBee goes to market, giving the SMEs we serve an immediate route-to-market advantage, backed by a network spanning the UK, USA, and UAE. Known for his energy and bias for action, James connects the right people at the right time. Away from work you will find him riding adventure motorcycles across mountains, deserts, and country roads.

David has worked with many of the world's most iconic brands as a Partner at leading global management consulting and brand strategy firms, including Oliver Wyman and Lippincott, and has held senior brand and marketing roles at a major financial services institution and two tech start-ups. He understands the unique needs of small and medium-sized businesses, and has helped many founders unlock new revenue growth through new customer segments, new products and services, and win-win partnerships.

David holds a B.A. in economics from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and studied at the London School of Economics. He is an avid trail runner and cross-country skier, a collector of rare vinyl, and a playwright whose work has been produced in the U.S. and around the world.
